I started with photography 5 years ago. It was always something I had interest in, but never knew what I wanted to photograph until I photographed my first bird which was a Blue Bird, and I was hooked! I took one local class to understand the mechanisms of my camera and then I was off and running!! I am mostly self-taught and still learning, my motto is “practice makes perfect”. I have had some help with some fellow photographers, and I have watched you tube videos to understand things about my current camera. I use a Canon 7 D Mark ll with a Tamron G2 150-600 mm lens, so I have that long reach to photograph a subject without getting too close. I am out most days weather permitting and when I get the chance to travel my camera is always with me. I am passionately dedicated to photographing birds and wildlife. I am currently a member of Gallery 23 in Blairstown, NJ where I can display my photos for purchase. I hope you enjoy my website and get joy from some of my photos!!
